Dr. Long is an ophthalmologist who is also a plastic surgeon.

He sees patients of all ages who have problems related to the lids, tear system and orbit. A partial list of more common oculoplastic problems includes:

Ptosis is a drooping of the eyelid, which can be either congenital or acquired.

Entropion is a malposition of the eyelid where the eyelid margin is rotated inward toward the eye.
Ectropion

Ectropion is an eyelid malposition where the lid margin falls away from the eye.

Thyroid Eye Disease (Graves' Disease) is a complex ocular and orbital disease process resulting in bulging eyes, lid malposition and double vision.

Injury to the eyelid or orbit may be threatening to vision or result in disfiguring problems.

Prosthetic eyes are used when the eye is lost to injury, tumor or pain.

Skin cancer around the eyelids requires specific expertise in removing the cancer and reconstructing the eyelids.

Cosmetic Surgery including lower and upper eyelid blepharoplasty is a very common way to augment the overall appearance.
