Optiks is a full-service optical shop located on the second floor of the Alabama Ophthalmology Associates building.

Optiks features a large selection of eyewear for both children and adults. As a courtesy to our patients, we offer a $50 discount on the purchase of a complete pair of glasses. Please ask a technician or an optician for a coupon.

Insurance

We will file your Medicare claim for your first pair of lenses and frames after cataract surgery. You are responsible for any amount Medicare does not pay. We will also assist you with filing your claims for any vision/eyewear coverage that you have.

Contact Lenses

We have a special interest in contact lenses and offer a full range of lens types. We spend a large amount of time in the fitting process. Routine fittings for contact lenses are guaranteed, and we will continue to work with you should the lenses not be satisfactory.

One of our contact lens technicians will fit you with your initial pair of contact lenses. Our contact lens technicians are available to answer any questions you may have about your contact lenses.

Lens Warranty

We offer a one-time free replacement on all polycarbonate lenses, or you can purchase the non-renewable, two-year unconditional lens warranty for $100. This warranty allows for unlimited lens replacement during the first two years after purchase.

Frames

We guarantee all of our frames. If your frame should break within one year of the purchase date due to manufacturer's defect, we will replace the frame at no charge to you. Children's frames are unconditionally guaranteed.
