Dr. Jackson is a native of Madison, Mississippi. She received her undergraduate degree with honors from Vanderbilt University and her medical degree with honors from the University of Mississippi. Following completion of her internship in general internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, she completed residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. She subsequently completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Jackson’s areas of interest include the treatment of both pediatric and adult strabismus, congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction, pediatric cataracts, and congenital glaucoma. She will also manage amblyopia, refractive errors, and retinopathy of prematurity.
Dr. Jackson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
In her spare time, Dr. Jackson enjoys cooking with her husband Matthew.
